Affinity

SOULS ARE TROOPS COLLECTED TOGETHER Abu Hurairah ra) repoted Allah’s Messeneger saws) saying Souls are troops collected together and those who familiarized with each other ( in the heavens from where these come ) would have affinity, with one another ( in this world) and those amongst them who opposed each other ( in the Heaven ) would also be divergent ( in the world ). Muslim

Al-Gurr Al-Mayāmīn

Al-Gurr Al-Mayāmīn [1]

1] Trans. Note: This phrase literally means, “The Blessed White Ones”. The “…White Ones…” is referring to the Hadīth of Abū Hurayrah, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Prophet,صلى الله عليه وسلم, said, “Verily, my Ummah will be called on the Day of Resurection as Ghurran Muhajjalīn, due to the effects of the Wudhū’” Narrated by Al-Bukhārī, Muslim, and others. “Ghurran” refers to a brightness or whiteness that appears on the heads of horses, and “Muhajjilīn” refers to a brightness or whiteness that appears on the limbs of horses.

DIWAN DIWAN

They used to endanger their lives, used to do wonders and extraordinary deeds being shure of Allahs help, depending upon his promise as it happened in the Islamic army under the command of Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas. He stood infront of the the town of Midian and could not find any ship or boat, and the water of the Tigris increased tremendously with overflooding. Sad addressed the troops over its banks ” I have resolved to cross the great river in order to assault them the enermy. The troops replied May Allah direct us and you to follow the right path. So please do it .Then Sa’d rushed heedlessly into the Tigris with his horse and with all his troops not a signal man remained behind , so they marched over it as if they were marching over the surface of the earth. They filled the space between the two banks so the water couldnt be seen from the cavalry and the foot soldiers . The troops spoke to one another as if they were walking on the surface of the earth. So when the Persian army saw them they said DIWAN DIWAN ( MAD PEOPLE MAD PEOPLE) By Allah you are not fighting against human beings but against Jinn. On that Sa’d started saying Allah is sufficient for us and He is the Best Disposer of our affairs

Book in English: “Jihaad the Absent Obligation” by Muhammed Abdul Salam Faraj

“Jihaad fee sabeel Lillah (in the cause of Allaah), despite its overriding importance and its great influence on the future of Islaam, has been neglected by present scholars, although they know that it is the only way to bring Islaam back and cause it to come to the surface again. Every Muslim seems to prefer the ideas and the philosophies that he fancies instead of the best way that Allaah has drawn for honour, power and glory of His servants. But there is no doubt that the tyrants of this earth will only be removed by the might of the sword, and that is why the Prophet (PBUH) said: “I have been sent before the Hour with the sword until Allaah is worshipped alone with no partner, and my sustenance has been placed underneath the shade of my spear, and the disgrace and the abasement have been inflicted on those that oppose my command, and whoever imitates a people is one of them.”

Book in English: Signs of ar-Rahman in Jihad of Afghan by Shaykh Abdullah Azzam

http://www.zshare.net/download/53747532f930110f/
.
“This book was written by Shaykh Abdullah Azzam during the Afghan-Soviet Jihad in the 1980’s. It deals specifically with first hand accounts of the miracles that occured during this Jihad.
.
Shaykh Abdullah Azzam writes, ‘These incidents which are going to be narrated are, in reality, more extraordinary than one can possibly imagine, and appear to resemble fairytales. I have personally heard them with my own ears; and have written them with my own hands from those Mujaahideen who themselves were present. I have heard these miracles from such men who are trustworthy and reliable, and who have been constantly on the battlefield. The miracles are many, so much so that they more or less reach the degree of Tawaatur i.e. such a large number that does not entertain the possibility of fabrication. I have heard numerous such miraculous episodes, but brevity does not allow me to enumerate all of them.
.
Allaah Ta ‘ala has not made it except as a glad tiding, so that your hearts may achieve tranquility by it.’
.
Shaykh Abdullah Azzam Time Magazine described Shaykh Abdullah Azzam as the man who was the ‘reviver of Jihad in the 20th Century’. Abdullah Yusuf Azzam was born in the village of Ass-ba’ah Al-Hartiyeh, province of Jineen in the occupied sacred land of Palestine in 1941 CE. He was brought up in a humble house where he was taught Islam, and was fed with the love of Allah, His Messenger (saw), those striving in the Way of Allah, the righteous people and the desire for the Hereafter. Sheikh Abdullah Azzam was one of the first Arabs to join the Afghan Jihad against the communist USSR in 1979, when he learned about the Afghan Jihad, he left his teaching position at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and went to Islamabad, Pakistan, in order to be able to participate in the Jihad. He was a fine example of Islamic manners, in his piety, his devotion to Allah and his modesty in all things. He would never adulate in his relations with others. Shaykh Azzam always listened to the youth, he was dignified and did not allow fear to have access to his brave heart. He practiced continual fasting especially the alternate daily fasting routine of Prophet Dawud (as). He strongly counselled others to practice fasting on Mondays and Thursdays.
.
The Shaykh was a man of uprightness, honesty and virtue, and was never heard to slander others or to talk unpleasantly about an individual Muslim. On 24 November 1989. The enemies of Allah planted three bombs on a road so narrow only a single car could travel on it. It was the road Shaykh Abdullah Azzam would use to drive to the Friday Prayer. That Friday, the Shaykh together with two of his own sons, Ibrahim and Muhammad, and with one of the sons of the late Shaykh Tameem Adnani drove along the road. The car stopped at the position of the first bomb, and the Sheikh alighted to walk the remainder of the way. The enemies, lying in wait, then exploded the bomb. A loud explosion and a great thundering were heard all over the city. People emerged from the mosque, and beheld a terrible scene. Only a small fragment of the car remained. The young son Ibrahim flew 100 meters into the air; the other two youths were thrown a similar distance away, and their remains were scattered among the trees and power lines. As for Shaykh Abdullah Azzam himself, his body was found resting against a wall, totally intact and not at all disfigured, except that some blood was seen issuing from his mouth. Sheikh Abdullah Azzam himself once said, ” Indeed Islamic history is not written except with the blood of the Shuhadaa’, except with the stories of the Shuhadaa’ and except with the examples of the Shuhadaa’. ” May Allah (swt) accept him amongst them.”

True Sons of the Sahabah

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“Who are the Mujahideen in the Arabian Peninsula?”

Within the Da’wa series of “This is Our Call”

Number #5

Nasheed:

I am going with the light of truth radiant in my blood
I am going with the banners of piety as my title
I am going with the treasures of Muhammad upon my lips

And my heartbeats are poems of Faith

Al-Malahim Media:

Praise be to Allah, blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family, his companions and supporters.

To proceed:

There has been increasing talk among the people concerning recent events in the Arabian Peninsula pertaining to the barbaric American bombing of Abyan, Shabwah, Arhab, Ma’areb, al-Ajashir and preceding events.

The time has come for the Ummah to listen to the words of the Mujahideen fi sabeel Allah. Thereforebeseeching the help of Allah Almighty, we say: The Mujahideen are part of this Ummah, and we have witnessed our Ummah living a reality of submissiveness, humiliation and subjugation by the Crusaders, Jews and apostates.

In the greatest theft in history, the wealth of current and future generations has been plundered in collusion between the Crusaders and the lackey rulers. The Ummah has been living this tragedy since the fall of the Islamic Caliphate. The forces of global unbelief, led by the protector of the Cross; America, have pounced on the Muslims and allied themselves in a global campaign against terrorism. They came against the Muslims with all their horses and men. They plotted and executed and continue to execute all that they can in their war against Islam and the Muslims. This matter does not need to be proven, because it is seen and felt by the people in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Arabian Peninsula and elsewhere among the countries of Islam.

America’s lackey, client regimes have aided it in this dirty war, by the government of Pakistan, the government of Yemen, the Saudi regime and the Egyptian regime who have opened (their) countries to the Crusaders so they could use the military basesto attack and kill Muslims. They gave them oil and intelligence and besieged our brothers in Palestine (just look at Gaza). They pursued and imprisoned the free sons of Muslims who desired to aid their brethren and to be governed by the Shari’ah of their Lord. These governments are the primary obstacle on the road to liberating the Muslims and restoring their honor and glory. This is the bitter reality to which there is no solution except returning to the Deen of Allah and Jihad fi sabeel Allah. The Almighty said, “Then fight in Allah’s cause – thou are held responsible only for thyself- and arouse the Believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and punishment.”

The Muslims are one Ummah. There is no difference among a Yemeni, a Najdi, a northerner, a southerner, an Arab and a foreigner except piety. All the wealth of the Arabian Peninsula in petroleum, gas, gold, etc… belongs to the treasury of the Muslims and must be justly distributed among the Muslims. The lackey governments have no right to plunder this wealth and hand it over to the Americans or anyone else so that they can use it to kill Muslims.

The goals the Mujahideen are trying to achieve:

1) Expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula, thereby carrying out the instruction of the Messenger of Allah, prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, who said, ”I will expel the Jews and Christian from the Arabian Peninsula so that none are left but the Muslims”.

2) Liberate the land, sea and air of the Muslim countries, and defend the honor and wealth of the Muslims. Establish the Islamic Caliphate and Shari’ah rule which the apostate governments have suspended. Allah Almighty said, “And fight them until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.”

Spread security in society so that justice and goodness prevail among all Muslims. The Almighty said, “It is those who believe and confuse not their beliefs with wrong – that are (truly) in security, for they are one (right) guidance.”

To establish Deen, spread Tawheed and the call to the pure Islam of Muhammad, prayers and peace be upon him, and his Companions. The Almighty said, “Ye are the best of Peoples, evolved for mankind. Enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah.”

3) To support the downtrodden Muslims everywhere. The Almighty said, “And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Whose cry is: ‘Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Thee one who will protect; and raise for us from Thee one who will help!’”

4) Free the Muslim prisoners everywhere. The Messenger of Allah, prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, said, “Free the prisoner, feed the hungry and visit the sick.” (Compiled by al-Bukhari).

5) Restore the usurped Holy Places of the Muslims.

6) Distribute and divide the wealth of Muslims among them justly. Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “By Allah, as long as I live the shepherd will receive his share, even at his place on the mountain.”

7) Achieve a brotherhood of faith among the Muslim masses, and end the tribalism of al-jahiliyah. The Muslims lands are one and the borders imposed upon them by colonialism are meaningless. We must cancel and refuse to recognize them.

8) Establish the army of Aden-Abyan, about whom the Messenger of Allah, prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, said, “Out of Aden-Abyan will come 12,000, giving victory to the (religion of) Allah and His Messenger. They are the best between me and them.”

9) Entering Paradise and winning the Pleasure of the Most Merciful. The Almighty said, “Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard in His cause and remained steadfast?”

These goals are a legitimate right and Divine commission. Allah has obligated us to fight to achieve them. The Almighty said, “Let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the hereafter.”

America, the Jews and Crusaders learned that the Mujahideen would continue – with the aid of Allah – to resist their designs and defend their Deen and their Ummah. When they experienced calamities (at the hands) of the Mujahideen in different Muslim countries (Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Palestine) they attempted to tarnish the Mujahideen’s image and alienate the Muslims from them through their agents in the region. They accused the Mujahideen of being takfeeri, who regard it lawful to (spill) the blood of Muslims and slaughter innocents. But it was also said about the Messenger of Allah, prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, that he was a liar, a fortuneteller and a sorcerer. May our fathers and mothers be sacrificed for him and we will sacrifice what we have!

This is slander and defamation! The Mujahideen kill the Jews, Christians and those who aid and co-operate with them in waging war against the Muslims. They do not declare Muslims kaffir, they do not deem it permissible to shed their blood or (take) their money. Allah is our aid.

O Muslim, this is your duty:

Know, O Muslim, that it is your duty to support the Deen, Jihad and the Mujahideen as much as you are able. The Messenger of Allah, prayers and peace of Allah be upon him, said “Strive against the polytheists with your wealth, your hands and tongues.” Narrated by Ahmad.

These are some of the methods to wage Jihad against the enemy. Strive to act and call others to act according to these methods.

1. Call people to Jihad and inspire them to do that.

2. Accommodating and being generous to the Mujahideen, encouraging the Mujahideen, urging them to continue and praying for them.

3. Protecting and defending the Mujahideen.

4. Keeping silent about the Mujahideen and concealing their secrets which would benefit the enemy.

5. Inform the Mujahideen about spies and the presence of Jews, Christians and the greatest criminals.

6. Collect donations for the Mujahideen and pay zakat to them.

7. Take the place of the Mujahid by treating his family well.

8. Refrain from aiding these governments in any way, such as paying taxes, customs and zakat and do not aid these collaborator governments against the Mujahideen.

9. Expose the hypocrites and deserters.

10. Raise children to love Jihad and its people.

11. Abandon luxury, renew your spirit with Jihad and prepare for it.

12. Be hostile to and hate the infidels, and do not bring them to work in the Arabian Peninsula.

13. Follow the news of Jihad, take part in spreading their published books, pamphlets and lectures. Do not believe what the media of the enemies of Islam says about them.

14. Boycott Jewish and American goods and urge the people to do that.

My Brother Muslim:

These are some of the means by which you can take part in the Jihad which is the real solution to the problems of our Ummah and by which its glory will be restored.

This is the battle into which we must plunge to defend our ‘Aqeedah and our Muslim Ummah, its holy and sacred things, our honor, values, wealth and potential. This is the battle for every Muslim, great or small; young or old. Do not ask, “where do we begin?” You are the beginning! You are the good seed! You are the hope of the nation; the solution, the candle that shall illuminate the darkness! You are the exemplary man! So do not say, “Where do we begin?” Say, “I will begin!”

“Only those believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the cause of Allah. Such are the sincere ones.”

We beseech Allah to guide this Ummah to glorify his obedient people, humiliate those who disobey Him, and to give victory to Jihad and its people. Allah is All-knowing.

May Allah bless and grant salvation to our Prophet Muhammad, his family and companions.

O My Future Wife, Stand Strong In The Storm

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

To my future wife, who would conceive my children and educate them with tawheed and akhlaq as exemplified by Rasulullah SAW and his successors who remain upright upon the path of tawheed and jihad. I am writing you this letter so that you will not get disappointed and sad someday in finding a partner like me who is full of shortcomings.

My future wife, I am writing you this letter so that you understand better the road we are going to travel and where we are heading as Allah's creatures who are burdened by the Almighty in this temporal world. So that we will be better prepared to mutually understand, to mutually empathize and to be grateful for what have been outlined by Allah SWT for our family.

My future wife and the future mother of my children, you probably already know what road I travel and what kind of life I want. I hope you will be a companion who is pleasant in this world in order for me to remain istiqamah in the path of the Rasul and his followers. Always making the call oftawheed as the most important thing in life and always teaching people the importance of returning to the main source of our Dien, Islam.

Perhaps later, there will be many trials, hardships and sufferings encountered in wading through our marriage, as human beings we may sigh, cry and could even be cursing the fates. But rest assured, it is all a trial to make us plenary humans and to educate us to remain firm in all weather and conditions.

Allah says: “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,” (QS Al-Baqarah :155).

My future wife, if one day I still cannot make you every bit happy like any other wives, forgive me. But as a husband, I will always try my best to be the best, providing sustenance which are halal, though not much and fulfilling your rights. So help me realize that even if it is only with your smile.

My future wife, if one day I go far away and will not return for long, look after my properties, spend some of the properties that you have in Allah's cause and fulfill the rights of your brothers and sisters in iman if you are able to fulfill it. And take care of my honor as your husband, unify with the Muslimahs whose hearts are tethered to paradise, who guard their gaze when alone and when with others, so that I can feel at peace for leaving a woman and a mother who look after what are left by her husband.

My future wife, you know I'm not a perfect person in every way. So help me improve it with your advices, your criticisms and anything that can make the obedience to Allah and His Rasul increases everyday. Make our family a family that is ready to accept the inputs from anyone even if it is a small child. Because the truth is not recognized from who is speaking but from what is said.

And lastly, my future wife, make our children one day be like the lion, who are not afraid to defend the truth, not surrendering to circumstances and are always tough in the midst of an offensive storm. Teach them to be an angry man when the truth is humiliated, teach them to fight against any oppression on anyone and educate them to dare to sacrifice anything, even their lives for the honor of Allah, His Rasul and the believers.

Maybe I am expecting too much from you, too demanding on you and asking what might be too heavy for you. But believe me, I as a husband will try to be a good companion, a loyal listener to your inputs and advices, to help each other to continue to be obedient to Allah and His Rasul.

I write this letter with all my weaknesses, all my faults, so that you understand with whom you will navigate this life. So that you will know that a marriage is not always honey and milk. Also so that you will not be a barrier in fulfilling my mission of da'wah, and become the first enemy in weakening my spirit for jihad in the cause of Allah SWT.

Before we meet as a husband and wife, let us always pray the do'a that had been read by the warrior which shook the thrones of tyranny, As-Shaheed Sayyid Quthub:

O Muhaymin (The Guardian), if I fall in love, guard my love so that it does not exceed my love on You.

O Allah, if I fall in love, let me touch the heart of someone whose heart is attached to You,
so that I do not fall into the abyss of a monotonous love.

O Rabbi, if I fall in love, guard my heart on her so that it does not turn away from Your Heart.

O Rabbal Izzat, If I yearn, make me yearn for someone who yearns for shaheed in Your path.

O Allah, If I yearn, guard my yearning on her so that I do not forget to yearn for Your Paradise.

O Allah, if I take pleasure from the love of Your lover, let that pleasure not exceed the pleasure of a munajat in the last third part of Your night.

O Allah, if I fall in love with Your lover, do not let me falter and fall in the long journey of calling mankind towards You.

O Allah, If You allow me to long for Your lover, do not let me go beyond the limits which makes me forget that true love and eternal longing are only with You.

O Allah, You are the All-Knowing that these hearts have come together in the love for You, these hearts have met in the obedience towards You, these hearts have unified in the da'wah towards You, these hearts have united in defending Your Shari'ah. Make the bond steadfast, O Allah. Make the love everlasting. Show us the ways. Fill these hearts with Your Nur (Light) which never ever fade. Comfort our breasts with the blessings of iman in You and the beauty of tawakkal in Your Path.

May Allah hear my do'a and your do'a and unite us in the shade of His Rahmah (Mercy, Grace) and make us a force that is loyal to Him.

From me,
Your future husband,

Bitter Medicine cures

And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you...

By Ibn al Qayyim al Jawziyya..

Allah, the Almighty says,which means,
“And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.” (AI-Baqarah, 2:216)

In this Qur’anic Verse, there are several judgments, meanings and benefits for the servant. If the servant knows that misfortune can produce a desirable thing, and that the desirable thing can produce a misfortune, he would not feel secure against the harm that can come from delight, and he would not lose hope of delight to come from harm, for he does not know the outcomes of things. Verily, it is Allah Who knows about that which the servant does not know, and in this context the following issues must be noted:

Nothing is more beneficial for him than abiding by the judgments of Allah, even if it is difficult for him at the beginning, because all its outcomes are good, delightful, and pleasurable. In the same way, nothing is more harmful for him than committing what is forbidden, even if he loves it. All its outcomes are pain, grief, evil and misfortune.
Furthermore, the mind bears little pain in comparison to the great pleasure and abundant good that it will experience, and likewise man is expected to avoid little in exchange for great rewards and preventing great pain and long term evil.
In this way, we can see that the perception of the ignorant does not go beyond the basics of life; his perception does not reach the goals, but the intelligent person always keeps his eye on the goals behind his actions in life.

The intelligent person perceives forbidden things like delicious food, which contain fatal poison. Whenever its pleasure arouses his interest, the reality of the poison would push him away from it. Also, he perceives the orders of Allah as bitter medicine that leads to good health and recovery.

Whenever its bitterness urges him not to take it, the reality of its usefulness leads him to comply. This requires knowledge that is more than the rudiments of the religion in order to understand the essential goals. It also requires strong patience to adjust oneself to it, in order to bear the difficulties that will be encountered for the sake of the goal. So if he loses certainty and patience, it would be difficult to achieve the goal, and on the other hand if his certainty and patience is strong, every difficulty would be rendered easy for him for the sake of permanent good and eternal pleasure.
There are other meanings of this verse. It also requires the servant to leave all his affairs in the Hands of the One Who knows the outcomes of all things, and to be pleased with whatever He chooses for him.

Also, the meanings of the verse include the fact that he should not propose or choose for his Lord, and should not ask Him for that which he has no knowledge of, for his harm and ruin may be in it and yet he does not know. He should simply ask his Lord to choose good for him and make him pleased with His choice, for that indeed would be the best ending. Also when he leaves all his affairs to his Lord, and is satisfied with His choice for him, Allah will support him by providing him with ability, determination and patience. He, the Almighty would also keep him away from the evil that the servant would have encountered if he had chosen for himself. He would show him some of the positive outcomes of His Choice, which he would not have attained if he had chosen for himself.

Such thinking relieves him of the burdens of trying to choose for himself as Allah frees his heart from estimations and arrangements, which fluctuate in difficulty. And in spite of this, the servant would always be surrounded by what was initially preordained for him. If he is pleased with the Choice of Allah, the preordainment would grant him what is praiseworthy, worthy of thanks and worthy of Allah’s Mercy. Otherwise, the preordainment would incur on him all that is dispraised and unworthy of Allah’s Mercy, because it was his own choice. When he truly leaves his affairs to Allah and truly becomes pleased with that, he would be surrounded by kindness and care in the preordainment, and he would be under the care and kindness of Allah. His Kindness protects him from that which he fears and His Care makes it easy for him to bear that which He preordained.

When the preordainment is implemented upon the servant, the greatest cause of its implementation would be his trying to avoid it. Therefore, there is nothing more beneficial for him than submission.

The More Humble You Are Before Allah...

Ibn Taymiyyah

“…And the slave – the more humble, needy, and subdued he is before Allah – the closer he will be to Him, and the dearer he will be to Him, and the greater in status he will be to Him. So, the happiest of the Creation is the one who is greatest in servitude to Allah. As for the Creation, as it is said: be in need of whoever you wish, and you will be his prisoner; be sufficient from whoever you wish, and you will be his adversary; be kind to whoever you wish, and you will be his authority… So, the greatest in status and honour the slave is with others is when he is not in need of them in any way, shape, or form. If you are good to others while not being in need of them, you will be greater in their eyes. When you are in need of them – even if for a sip of water – your status is reduced in their eyes in accordance with what it is you need from them. And this is from the Wisdom and Mercy of Allah, in order that the Religion all be for Allah, and that nothing be associated with Him. Because of this, when Hatim al-Asamm was asked: ‘With what can one protect himself from people?’ he answered: “That you freely give them from what you have, and that you are cold and indifferent towards what they have.” However, if you are in a position to be compensated from them, and they are also in need of something from you, and the needs of the two sides become equal, you become like two merchants, none of whom has any virtue over the other. If they are the more needy side, that is when they will become subdued. So, with the Exalted Lord, the most generous you are to Him is when you are most in need of Him. With the Creation, the most insignificant you are to them is when you are most in need of them…” ['Majmu' al-Fatawa'; 1/67]

Hilaal khairan wa rushdin rabbi wa rabbuk-Allah

Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem A cresent of goodness and guidance .My Lord and Your lord is Allah
By the Qadr of Allah I chanced upon a young woman nearly one year ago , she said she had been reading the Quran and needed some answers , I enquired how did she come to have the Quran , she didnt answer that but said she had been drinking heavily and read in the Quran the verses forbidding intoxicants and said to herself [ I'm going to stop ] and she did , straight away Sabhan Allah. O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, Al-Ansab , and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful . . Shaitan (Satan) wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from As-Salat (the prayer). So, will you not then abstain?. 5 :90, 91 It wasnt so much what she said as amazing as is that a girl from a western secular background can read one ayyat [ verse ] in the Quran and then go cold turkey [ abstain ] from something she knew was destructive to her mind , body and soul , it was the way she said it [ face lowered in shame and regret ] . How many of us who have embraced Islam or reaffirmed our faith after years in the wilderness , can identify with this , the life of shame , a life void of dignity and worthiness , for Allah did not create us to graze like mere cattle but created us for much nobler purposes Alhumu Lillahi Rabil Alaimeen 5 months later this young woman embraced Islam put on a hejab and started on a path of slavery , a total transformation , instead the appearance of shame has been replaced by a glow and a serenity only found in the submitting soul, only tasted by those who recognize what is already deep in their innate soul . (This is) a Book (the Qur'an) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember. 39:29 what is it that transformed a young beautiful women who's only idea of social life was to " party " because thats what society expects of her , to be at the service of any tom , dick and harry and sorry to put it in such a vulgar manner but it is the reality and we all know it . can the female soul ever be satisfied with a such denigration ? no indeed not , for it is beneath the dignity of the position Allah afforded to the daughters of Hawah as) [ Eve ] Indeed she saw something of higher value undoubtably , an awakening to her true self ,her natural instincts , her full potential , she wrapped herself in a garment of honor and calm so as to lower her gaze to protect her chastity , to leave off what displeases her Creator to what pleases Him and to reaffirm , using her intellect and logic that this creed is the only course worth living and the only avenue to obtain a life of dignity '\ inna hazzaa lahu Wal Fazlul ....... This surely is evident favour .....27 : 16 Away with the drollness , the emptiness of the illusionary pastimes, the habitual slavery to desires , that this and that will fix the aching needy heart , fulfill the wandering mind , nothing will fix it except obedience to Allah Most Gracious and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided. 3 :103 Despite the strict code of discipline and dress found in Islam in comparison to the laxness and "freedoms" drowning non muslim society , women of all persuasions , ages and nationalities flock to the Hejab and the Niqab in a time when virtually the whole world is against it ,when the western elite are informing us that its a sign of repression backwardness and domination by males and we women need to be protected and empowered . This concern for our welfare brings tears to our eyes as we have experienced this concern in Iraq and Afghanistan and Gaza when we bury our children , this concern is killing us ,literally. Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said: "Our Lord is Allah." - For had it not been that Allah checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allah is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty . 22:40 Why are the transgressing rulers so afraid of a piece of cloth covering the face or is it whats behind the cloth that so greatly disturbs them that they must make ridiculous laws to ban the hejab and niqab , why does " men of power " feel so threatened by our head covers , what can a woman in a niqab do to them that makes them so paranoid , with all their might and their recourses and their superior way of life with all their freedoms and human rights ,if they had right on their side why are they so afraid of a woman in a niqab , we find it amusing if you think about it is ridiculous , the double standards are clear and we know them well for they are the tyrants of yesteryear the abusers and deceivers of today and the loser of tomorrow And let not those grieve you (O Muhammad [Image]) who rush with haste to disbelieve; verily, not the least harm will they do to Allah. It is Allah's Will to give them no portion in the Hereafter. For them there is a great torment. 3:176. And thats in a nut shell , is what its all about ,the twisted words and fake concerns are nothing but dust , its got nothing to do with our piece of cloth but to do with the fact that out hejab and niqabs are our armour are our defence mechanism against their life of absolute waste . A woman clothed to please Allah is in an impenetrable fortress no matter what happens to her she remains steadfast a slave to Allah and a rejecter of ignorant ungrateful mans' demands and is in confrontation with all that is Batil [ falsehood] No man or women who has not tasted the delights of faith in Allah Azza wa Jall can know that our coverings are our blood , are our breath and our soul , we will never give them up just as our steadfast sisters have done in the past , if we are deprived , alienated , fined , imprisoned , put to death for our coverings then so be it , we embrace the sacrifice . It is all in Allah's hands to do as He pleases and in Him we trust and turn in repentance , ameen No wretched ruler no constitution no law or value system will defeat us as we are the mothers daughters and sisters of heros , and we reject your attempt to reduce us to your level for our aim is to raise and have both this world and the next and that is the attraction that captures the hearts of women all over this earth in the barren fields of Korea to the bustling cities of Brazil women free themselves from the chains of man made methodologies and establish themselves on the path that leads to an exalted standard of character , a character of goodness and guidance , insha'Allah . Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrahim (Abraham) and those with him, when they said to their people: "Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allah, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you believe in Allah Alone," 60:4 Alhumdu Lillahi Rabil Alimeen maidservant Maria bint Ahl Adh Dhimmah [ daughter of Jewish and Christians women]

Hearts that beat

“It is easier to face the Romans than our woman!”
O you who run from a constant women
Who has both beauty and virtue;
And leave her to the infidel,
The hated and evil infidel, to posses,
Disgrace and ruin!
“You are not our husbands if you can not save us from the infidels!”
“May Allah curse those who run from the enemy!”
These were the words with which the muslim women met the soldiers, their husbands, sons, brothers, fathers when they retreated from the battlefield of al-Yarmuk to reorganize them selfs and find new strenght for the battle. O and how they found it, and how fast! Indeed, the man of the Muslim army, were truly man, fearless, righteous, they only feared Allah, and everything they did was to gain Allah’s Pleasure with them, they were martyrdom seekers and well known and feared amongst the enemys. They were man of pride and glory. Man of high-ranked reputation….
…. now facing this kind of assaultes!
First they were welcomed with a shower of stones, after which women ren to the men and struck horse and rider with tent poles. And who was the first muslim horseman to feel the anger of a fury muslimah? Abu Sufyan! And from no body less but his own wife, Hind, may Allah forgive them both. She struck the neck of his horse with a tent pole and shouted: “Where to, o son of Harb?! Return to battle and show your courage so that you may be forgiven your sins against the Messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wa Sallam)!”
Wallahi, these women knew, what to say, when and how. These women knew how to act and react, how to remind and inspire, ….. where to strike!
Other men faced the same lovely temper, and they all returned to the battlefields now yet more outraged at the enemy.
One of the Muslims confided to his comrades: “It is easier to face the Romans than our woman!”
SubhanAllah!
One of those glorious women was “Asma’ Bint Yazid Bin As-Sakan, the cousin of Muadh Bin Jabal, may Allah be pleased with them both.
It was said about her in Siyar A’lam An-Nubala’ [2/297], that she was, “From the Mujahidat who gave Bay’ah to the Prophet, salAllahu alayhi wa Sallam, and she killed nine Romans on the day of Al-Yarmuk with a pole from her tent.” “(The Role of the Women in Fighting the Enemys, by Shaykh Yusuf al-Uyayri, rahimahullah)
Stones and tent poles! Imagine what these women’s spirit would attain today with guns, RPG-s, hand granates..etc.
Indeed the strength is not in the body, it’s in the heart! The heart that truly beats ‘La illahe illAllah, Muhammedun Rasulullah!’

Who By His Grace

Al-Shuara (The Poets)
Chapter 26: Verse 111
The Poor
They said,
“Are we to believe in you, even though only the lowest of the low follow you?”
The nobility always speak in a derogative manner about the poor. They say that their habits and values are not acceptable to those who are in the higher echelons of society. They have nothing of their refinements. What Prophet Noah’s people meant was that it was only the poor who followed him.
The poor are normally the first to accept divine messages and messengers. They are quick to believe in God and submit themselves to Him, because they are not deterred by any hollow status or fear of losing any interest or position as a result. The chiefs and nobles of society often fear for their interests that are based on false considerations, as also myths and legends that are given religious status. Moreover, they are unwilling to accept complete equality with the masses as a result of believing in God’s oneness.

“Fifty of us or fifty of them?”:

Asalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatulahi wa Barakatuhu,

A Reminder:

“So our time that we are complaining about, among all the other generations after the Sahaba, although our time is not exactly the same it is the most similar to the time of the Sahaba. Why? Because when the Sahabah came there was no Islamic authority and there is no Islamic authority today and this was not the case for fourteen hundred years. When the Sahabah came, they fought entire surroundings including the two super powers – the Persian Empire and the Roman Empire – and all the ‘Arabs around them that were against them. And this is similar to our situation today and this wasn’t the case in our history before. In our history before you would find Islamic authority, you would find people to assist you in Al-Haqq, and there was a place to make Hijrah to. Now we find that the whole world is waging a war against us and this is similar to time of the Sahabah, which means the ajr of the people today could be very great. We are not saying it is equal to the ajr of the Sahabah but it is going to be very great. This is why Rasoolullah (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) has mentioned in a hadith that even though the best generation is of the Sahabah, then the Tabi’een, then the Taba Tabi’een, there will be a generation of people at the end of time and the ajr of one of them will be equal to the ajr of fifty! So the Sahabah asked, “Fifty of us or fifty of them?” Rasoolullah (Sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said, “Fifty of you.”

So the Salah will be like the Salah of fifty Sahabah. You fast one day and it will be like the fasting of fifty Sahabah. The ajr is multiplied by fifty, why? Because of the difficulty of that time.

We notice that Rasoolullah (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said that towards the end of time that there will be people who will be amongst the greatest of this Ummah. Rasoolullah (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said in hadith that ‘Out of ‘Aden-Abyan will come out twelve thousand; they will give victory to the Deen of Allah and they will be the best between me and them.’ (Aden-Abyan is located in South Yemen, and today there is an active and popular Jihadi movement there in that locality)

They are the best between Rasoolullah (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) and their time. So we can wrap all of these Centuries, and they will be the best. The reason is because their time will be most similar to the time of the Sahaba.

So why complain if you are living in the time of the new gold rush; not a gold rush for gold but a gold rush for Hasanaat? There are some times when the economy is booming so fast and everybody becomes rich and then there are times when things are stagnating and slow so these people wish they were living in the time when economy was booming so they could become a millionaire like those before. We are living in a time of a boom now; but we just need to realize it and realize the amount of ajr that is out there waiting for us if we just go and do something. The ajr is so great that it’s waiting for someone to come and do something about it. If it comes at a time when things are easy then the ajr is reduced. But if the time is one of difficulty, then the ajr is increased.

Ajr is in accordance to the difficulty. So why complain about a time when really, it is the best time?

If we are talking about the time when victory is around the corner, Wallahu ‘Alam if we are experiencing the knowledge of the Ghayb when Rasoolullah (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said they (i.e., the Victorious Group) will be the ones to give victory to the Mahdi, to ‘Esa ibn Maryam (‘alayhis salaam); if we are close to that time, the ajr is astronomical, and we do not want to be waiting on the sideline when all of this is happening; people are making millions while you are sitting at home doing nothing. So we shouldn’t complain about our time.

Rasoolullah (sallallahu ‘alayhe wassallam) said, “Indeed Allah gathered up the earth for me so that I saw its eastern and western parts, and indeed the dominion of my Ummah will reach what was gathered up for me from it.
(Saheeh Muslim #2889 collected that Thawbaan (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

So this religion will reach to every continent, to every country, and to every city. The banner of La ilaaha illAllah will enter into every city. This religion will reach wherever night and day reaches; is there a place where night and day doesn’t reach? So you O Kafir, O Munaafiq, if you want to hide away from this religion you will need to go to mars or somewhere else! There will be no place for you on dunya! So we must all agree that victory is on its way, but the question is when?”
