Ibn Qayim about Khushoo

“Someone who turns away in prayer, either with his eyes or his heart, is like a man whom the king summons and seats before him: just when the king starts to call out his name and addresses him, the man turns from him right and left, and his heart turns away. And since his heart is not present, he understands nothing of what the king says to him. What should this man expect from the king in return? At the very least, should he not expect to leave the palace – rejected, cast out and beneath consideration?

This worshipper is in no wise equal to the one whose heart is present, turned in prayer towards God and so aware of the Grandeur of the One before whom he stands that his heart is filled with awe, his head inclines and he would be ashamed before his Lord to face anyone else, or turn away.

About these two prayers, as Hassan bin ‘Atiya said: ‘Two men may offer prayer shoulder to shoulder, and yet between their two prayers lies a gulf as [vast] as that separating Heaven from earth. This is because one of them has his heart turned towards God, while the other is forgetful and heedless.’

The Case of Shaykh Abu Mouadh Nourdine Nafi’a and his wife.

The joint committee received this letter from Shaykh Abu Mouadh Nourdine Nafi’a. He wrote it while he was being held in Kenitra central prison, in which he was subjected to barbaric torture after he was arbitrarily transferred on the 9th of October 2010. He was on hunger strike since the 6th of December 2010 while he was there until he was between life and death. He wrote this letter then speaking about the kidnapping he and his wife have been through and detention and torture in Temera secret detention centre and other secret centers.

He is now is solitary confinement, cut off the world around him in Toulal 2 prison, Meknes. He is one of those accused of being behind the Sala prison clashes (16-17/May/2011) or what is known by “Salé Zaki prison riot”.

We do not Need your tears Here !

"We Do Not Need Your Tears Here!"

The meeting with the Palestinian fighters twitched my heart. There are those with maimed hands, missing legs and crippled limbs. We were so touched that we shed our tears. But the Mujahideen right away said: “Don't cry. “We do not need your tears here. What's important is your do'a so that we will remain strong here to keep on fighting for your masjid.

“Send our salam to the people of Malaysia. Please believe in this struggle so that we can together defend the rights of the Islamic ummah.”

Those Mujahideen smiled. We were amazed by the richness of their spirit. They do not mind, they are ready to sacrifice their lives anytime for the sake of defending the rights of the Muslims. Ouch! I feel so tiny when compared to the spirit of their jihad.

Not only the adults, even the small children there have a big ambition. Just ask those children, what do they want to be when they grow up?

Their answer is, we want to be Mujahids!

This is what my life is for (Abdullah Azzam)

Become strong, prison whips, and raise up

Become strong, prison whips, and raise up
And block the light as much as you can with your shock;
° And send grief upon open eyes
That refuse to sleep from memories and pain;
As my soul refuses to validate a transgressor
Or to bow to a tyrant out of anguish;
° Or to be restrained by preventing walls
Or to harken for a dream appearing out of sorrow;
They are able to gather these bodies
But they cannot prevent me from a sweetness that I can hear;
The foulness of their scent has faded
° And this sweetness shines with illuminating lights;
So, glory to the One who has made the sound of His Name;
An arrow to fill the cup of the soul with devoutness;
A revived song, the voice of a jaybird
And it flew with the soul and reached the Gardens;
O quencher of the soul, fill our cups and quench our thirst
And whoever calls you to be silent is the one who is handicapped

Sheikh Abu Qatadah HA) aseer ....keep him in ur duas

Ibn Taymiyyah said in The Fatwas (28/635), “freeing prisoners is one of the greatest obligations, and spending money in this matter is one of the greatest sacrifices”.
° : Ibn Qudamah Al-Hanbali said (Al-Mughni 9/228): It is obligatory to pay the ransom money for the Muslim prisoners, if it is possible.
° It has been narrated by Saeed through his chain from Hibban bin Jabalah, that the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: “Indeed it is obligatory upon the Muslims to free their captives or to pay their ransoms.”

Treason against Allah and His deen

A MAN WHO CARRIES THE UMMAH UPON HIS SHOULDERS

Shaykh Abu Muhammad al Maqdisi (May Allah continue to preserve him)

“And that is why I tell the enemies of Allāh during their interrogations of me, and during their offers and threats which they sometimes give me, attempting to win me over to collaborate with them and work with them; [I tell them]: “It would be more realistic, and easier, if you were to collaborate with me – rather than me collaborating and working with you. For I consider you as enemies, and as Kuffār. And I declare you to be Kuffār, and I also declare anyone who assists you against the Muslims, as Kuffār also. So is it logical to think that I would work at a post, whose people I label as Kuffār? And is it logical that I would collaborate with my enemies?

And even if I were to work with you – you could never pay me the payment which Allāh has promised me if I fulfill my obligations towards Him, firm in patience and sincerity. And if you were to work with me, and you became Helpers of the Dīn of Allāh – then your payment, if you are sincere, is a Paradise, the width of which is the Heavens and the Earth. So what is your government’s salaries and wages worth, in front of a Paradise the width of which is the Heavens and the Earth?

And if you were to work with me, you would be committing treason – according to your terminology – against your country. But this is something trivial, and is weightless in comparison to treason against Allāh and His Dīn. And the penalty sentenced by the country upon your treason, is nothing in front of the Torment of Allāh which I will go through if I were to betray His Dīn by working for you. Likewise, if you lose your country’s salary and wage, this is nothing in comparison to losing a Paradise, the width of which is the Heavens and the Earth. And that is the evident loss. This is why you working with me is more realistic, and easier, than me working with you.”

Climb indeed we will make it easy for you

On the authority of Abu Umaamah Al-Baahilee (May Allaah be pleased with him) he said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) say:

"While I was sleeping two men came to me and took me by my arms and brought me to a steep mountain and said to me: "Climb!" I said, "I don't have the ability to do so." They said "indeed we will make it easy for you" so I began to climb. I climbed until I came to the summit of the mountain where I heard terrible cries. I said, "What are these voices?" They replied, "That is the howling of the people of the Fire." Then they took me further on until I came to a people who were strung by their hamstrings, with their jawbones torn and flowing with blood. I said, "Who are these individuals?" They said, "These are the people who break their fast before the time at which they may do so." Then they continued on with me, we came to people who had the most severe swelling, most repugnant stinch, and worst appearance. I said, "Who are these people?" It was said, "These are the males and females who committed Zinaa" (Fornication and/or Adultery). Then they took me and we came across some women whose breasts were being bitten by snakes. I said, " What is the situation of these women? It was said, "These are the women who prevent their children from their breast milk." Then they took me and I came across some children playing between two rivers. I said, "Who are these children?" It was said, "These are the offspring of the believers." Then I was given an honor, I was with three individuals who where drinking some wine of theirs. I said, "Who are these individuals?" They said, "This is Ibraheem, Moosaa and Eesaa and they are waiting for you."
(An-Nisaa-ee in al-Kubraa 2/234, Ibn Hibban # 7491, Ibn Khuzaymah # 1986, Authenticated by Al Imaam Al-Albaani in Saheeh at-Targheeb #1005)

Benefits from the hadeeth:

1. The dreams of the Prophets are revelation.
2. The punishment of the hellfire will be a miserable one.
3. It is prohibited for one to break his fast in Ramadhaan without a legislated excuse before the sunsets.
4. If one does so, this is the punishment that he/she is entitled to.
5. Zinaa is an evil and despicable path, therefore the fornicator/adulterer are punished with the most evil and despicable punishment.
6. A woman who deprives her child from her breast milk without a valid legislated excuse is committing a major sin, just as the other acts mentioned are major sins due to there being a punishment mentioned for it in the hereafter.
7. The children of the believers who have died are in Paradise. This is in general. As for saying that a specific child is there, without any text, is incorrect. Indeed, Allaah knows that which they would have done.
8. The virtue of Ibraheem, Moosaa, and Eesa (Alayhimus Salaam)
9. The promise that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) will be in Paradise.
10. Being in the company of the Prophets is an honor.
11. Khamr will be allowed in the hereafter for the believers.
12. The warning to keep away from these evil affairs by way of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) informing us about the punishments that he saw for them.
