Unified Ummah

Unified Ummah

"Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem

A practical example is the most prevailing social order of this present world -DEMOCRACY- The fundamental guiding principle of Democracy (Stimulated by Former U.S.A. President Abraham Lincoln) is “Democracy for the people of the people by the people”. Thus, to accept Democracy is to believe that people are sovereign and the source of ALL power. Let us take a look at some statements given by majority of political scientists. From among them Austin has said “LAW IS THE WILL OF SOVEREIGN” and Jan Boda has said “IT IS THE DUTY OF THE SOVEREIGN TO MAKE LAW”. So we can understand from their statements that if the people are sovereign and the source of all power then the authority is in their hand to make law in a Democratic system.

Whereas on the other hand, Allah (SWT) (the Creator of people and the Great Lord of the Cosmopolitan) has declared that:

“And to Allah belongs the sovereignty of the heaven and the earth, and to Allah is the return (of all).”

(Surah An-Nur 24:42)

He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Who has begotten no son (children or offspring) and for Whom there is no partner in the dominion. He has created everything, and has measured it exactly according to its due measurements.”

(Surah Al-Furqan 25:2)

“Say: “To Allah belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you shall be brought back.”

(Surah Az-Zumar 39:44)

"And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie."

(Surat Al-'An`ām C.6 V.116)

But not many people realize the clear meaning of the above Verses that, Democracy and Islam directly contradict each other. Nevertheless few people are aware of the fact that they will lose their Imaan upon accepting the ideologies (such as Democracy) of the Jews and Christians.

It is sad to say, instead of awaring Muslims of this fact, a group of people from among the Muslims, some hypocrites in the disguise of preachers of Islam, are making every effort to make the Muslims believe that “Democracy” is in congruence with Islam and it is the best system in the present situation of the world. With their misguided speech and explanations, these hypocrites are ruining and diminishing the main pillar of Imaan and Aqeedah of Muslims (Tawheed). Due to this, people who claim to be Muslims cannot understand that these ideologies are rather double-faced and controversial the Islam and with one’s Imaan. They fail to understand that it is an outright act of shirk to involve oneself in the work of constitutions based on such ideologies!

We must remember that no matter how much we worship Allah, if we keep ourselves involved in activities that diminish our Imaan like committing Shirk with Allah, then all our worship will be worthless.
"Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon Muhammad, his wives, his family, his companions and righteous followers

Supporting man-made legislation involves Haraam, Kufr & Shirk
an-Nizaamul A’qaai’d - [The Belief System]

Allah (swt) explained clearly the reason for mans existence "I have not created the jinn and mankind except for my worship" (adh Dhaariyaat 51:56) And this was only to be fulfilled by seeking the shari’ah judgement for all affairs and then applying those rules "But No by your Lord! They can have no belief until they make you a judge in all disputes between them and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions but accept them with full submission." (an Nisaa’ 4:65) And Allah (swt) commanded us to constantly submit to Him (swt) "O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared and die not except in a state of Islam (as muslims) with complete submission to Allah." (aali ‘Imraan 3:102)

When we say LA ILAHA ILL ALLAH we are saying that there is no God worthy of worship except Allah (swt). Meaning that there is no power to submit to except for ALLAH (swt). To do this we must understand that there is nothing equal to Allah (swt) in any of His attributes. Allah (swt) has described Himself with at least ninety-nine names and attributes, if any body claims to have any of the attributes of Allah (swt) then this person has becomes a taaghoot. Taaghoot is anything that is worshipped other than Allah (swt). So before we can claim to be muslims we must first reject taaghoot as Allah (swt) says "There is no compulsion in deen. Verily, the right path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in taaghoot and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is the All-Hearer (Sami’) All-Knower (A’leem)" (al Baqarah 2:256) "And verily We sent to every ummah (nation) a messenger (proclaiming): "Worship ALLAH and avoid (or keep away) from Taaghoot (all false deities)" (an Nahl 16:36)

One of Allah (swt)’s attributes is AL HAKIM meaning the only law-giver. So if anyone who legislates laws that are that are not from qur’an and sunnah, then this person becomes a taaghoot as only Allah (swt) is AL HAKIM the One who legislates Law. There are many verses of the qur’an to prove that Allah (swt) is the only law giver "The hukm (legislation) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him, that is the straight religion, but most men know not" (Yusuf 12:40) and "And He makes none share in His decision and rule (hukm)" (al Kahf 18:26)

These verses of the qur’an prove without doubt that only Allah (swt) has the right of making laws that should be followed by man. And we as muslims can not obey any Laws that have been legislated by other than ALLAH (swt). "Or do they have partners with Allah to legislate for them in the deen what Allah does not allow" (ash Shura 42:21) and "And eat not of that on which the name of Allah is not pronounced, for surely that is fisq (an act of disobedience). And verily the Shayaateen inspire their friends (from mankind) to argue with you. And if you obey them then you would indeed be mushrikoon" (al An’am 6:121)

All these verses prove that if we take someone as a law giver besides Allah (swt), then we would be guilty of committing major shirk with Allah (swt). Now if a person is voting to elect a certain political party into power, which will implement kufr laws. Then not only is he recognising the taaghoot, but he/she is giving the party the power to become the taaghoot and to implement kufr. The following principles of a’qeedah and shari’ah prove the dalaalah (misguidance) of voting for man-made law:-
